Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) January 19, 2013

On November 6th, Colorado passed Amendment 64 being the first U.S. state to regulate recreational cannabis in history. The passing of Amendment 64 has raised hopes of expanding marijuana business opportunities and tax revenues. In fact, the first forty million dollars annually will go to fund education. This historic event has generated excitement across the country, but also holds many questions on the implementation of a substance transitioning out of prohibition. This has a direct impact on current and future cannabis business owners.

The Cannabis Industry’s projected value is between $ 3 – $ 4 billion with an influx of “Ganjapreneurs” and investors seeking to capitalize on this major opportunity. Due to the fact that it is a black market legitimizing itself out of prohibition, the industry’s growth could be exponential with the passing of national legalization and implementation in the coming years. This does not take into account the ample business opportunities being developed for industrial hemp. “Colorado’s Cannabis Community has not only helped educate patients and validate the efficacy of medical cannabis, but it also created and stabilized a medical cannabis business model as well,” says Villano. “I believe HB1284 & Amendment 64 will eventually find common ground for regulation, offering tremendous business opportunities, investments, educational programs, job training and generate large economic stimulation in Colorado.”

The A64 Symposium will be highlighted into two segments.

“Regulated Rules Task Force Update” 8:10 pm – 9:00 pm

The “Rule making” Govoner’s Task Force has been meeting all week long. We have been uncertain of our transitioning process as we expand the Cannabis Industry in Colorado, open more businesses, and make changes to our existing systems and procedures. What can we expect? What can we do? Join Clover Leaf’s Chloe Villano, along with our diverse panel of experts from the leading industry groups as we discuss the task force update and first draft development of the rule making process for Colorado’s regulated marijuana laws. Former Bronco, Medical Experts Come Out About Pot and Why the NFL Should Lift the Ban at Sports, Meds and Money

Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) February 21, 2015

(Denver, CO) – Sunday night was a big night for Denver Bronco Quarterback Peyton Manning. Included among the legions of stars during the Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary special, Manning was cool, calm – and truthful.

While meant to be funny, his joke that he “gets hit in the head a lot,” reminded viewers of the scores of NFL players who get knocked around quite a bit on the field, many times resulting in Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), a progressive degenerative disease of the brain found in athletes (and others) with a history of repetitive brain trauma.

These types of brain injuries, and the NFL’s ban on the use of medicinal marijuana to alleviate or reverse them, will be a highlight of the Cannabis Business Executive Breakfast and Three-Day Conference – “Sports, Meds and Money,” March 4 – 6, 2015, at Casselman’s Bar and Venue in Denver (http://www.CannabisBusinessConference.org).

In particular, former Denver Bronco and Super Bowl XXXIII Champion Marvin Washington will come forward on of the conference about the role cannabis can and should play in professional sports, particularly those fraught with frequent head and body injuries.

Additional topics will include medical marijuana use for injuries, marijuana as a sports enhancer, medical professionals will weigh in, and much more.

Other speakers will include Glendale Mayor Mike Dunafon, MSNBC’s Pot Barons of Colorado, People Magazine’s “Marijuana Millionaires” and various experts in the cannabis industry.

Hosted by Clover Leaf Consulting, the conference will also pair serious investors with Colorado’s rapidly growing number of cannabis business owners. More than 200 are expected to attend with at least a quarter million dollars in business deals expected over the course the event.

The conference will feature two days of expert presentations, an exhibit vendor hall, and the opportunity to earn approved cannabis business education certifications from Clover Leaf University (CLU) on the third day of the conference. CLU is the first and only cannabis university approved, regulated and licensed by the Colorado Department of Higher Education’s private occupational school board. There will also be a four-hour (2 – 6 p.m.) open house for attendees to network and discuss investment and partnership opportunities.

For those looking to make their mark in this industry, attendees will be learn about:

National Business and Brand Expansion

State-by-state Business Opportunities

Mergers and Acquisitions

Business Set-up

Financing Options

Setting Best Practices and Corporate Standards, and more
