Ky. Agriculture Commissioner James R. Comer was in Morgantown Wednesday to promote a farm tag program to benefit 4-H, FFA, and the Kentucky Proud program. Commissioner Comer also took time to discuss his plan for the Ag Department, as well as his support of industrial hemp.

It’s good to see some common sense on this issue. I talk to farmers daily
here in Glasgow who say industrial hemp would put Kentucky in the black and
make it a model for other states. The ONLY block to it is that the
lobbyists for the petrol-chemical interest has firm control over the
Washington crowd.
