Denver-based Cannabis Dispensary Becomes Party-Central for Both Visitors and Residents Celebrating the Marijuana Cultures 420 Festivities

Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) April 22, 2015

It was a non-stop and jubilant 420 weekend at The Grass Station. As one of Colorado’s oldest and largest recreational marijuana dispensaries, the store was host, teacher and cheerleader for the crowds of cannabis newcomers and aficionados looking to celebrate what has evolved into an annual, national celebration of the marijuana culture.

“I couldn’t be happier with how well our customers were taken care of,” said Grass Station founder and CEO Ryan Fox. “Our staff did an amazing job, as we serviced around 500 people each day from Friday through Monday.”

The dispensary successfully anticipated the high volume of 420 traffic by having as many as ten checkout stations available to its customers. That not only allowed Grass Station staff more time to ensure store patrons made it out to their 420 events on schedule, but also that customers were happy with their purchases.

And along with its critically-acclaimed selection of marijuana strains, as well as a wide spectrum of edibles, vape products and apparel, many customers took advantage of The Grass Station’s ongoing policy of accepting all of the local competition’s discount coupons.

2014 was the first year of legal recreational marijuana sales to adults in Colorado, and the growing national acceptance of cannabis also meant more online chatter about 420-related events this year.

As an example of that growing market, The Grass Station’s online advertising campaign had over 300,000 views during the just-concluded 420 Weekend, compared to 110,000 during the same time period last year.

Fox said all those efforts, combined with Colorado’s blustery springtime weather that moved a lot of activities indoors, resulted in Grass Station visitors ringing up more higher-priced purchase totals this year, compared to 2014.

But most importantly, Grass Station customers finished up 420 with good memories of the event and the dispensary.

“These guys are the greatest when it comes taking care of your needs,” Chris G. from Oklahoma wrote about his time at The Grass Station. “They took great care of us. We spent 420 in Denver and stopped by there every day we were in town. And will continue to do so.”
