‘How cannabis can treat the epileptic brain’

Some non-psychoactive compounds from the cannabis plant can be used to treat epilepsy, but we still don’t know how they work as anti-epileptic drugs. Studying the ways in which brain cells communicate with each other, and how this is changed in an epileptic brain, could be the key to understanding why some cannabinoids have anti-epileptic properties.
