Still No Revenues for Cannabis Science (OTC:CBIS)

Stock promotion is serious business and commonplace in the SmallCap arena, but it is a necessary demon for the undercapitalized companies to market themselves and attract more investors. Stocks using this usually effective method are trying to expand their investor base and ramp up volume, but don’t fall in love with all the bells and whistles because one thing for sure… they are almost always short-lived. It’s just simple market correction that’s all… you can’t expect a stock to gain 50 percent one day and not give any back the next. The best move is to buy early (i.e. when you first receive the promo e-mail) or not at all because after a couple of hours most of the buying is done anyway and the price usually dips back down.

One company from the SmallCap space this morning that looks to be under some sort of promotion campaign is Cannabis Science (OTC:CBIS) because the last news from this company was issued way back in September. Also, a look into their financials will show you that they are a development stage company with no revenue and an accumulative deficit of nearly $ 60 million.

Already today Cannabis Science has traded nearly 2 million shares and hit a 52-week high of almost 6 cents. This stock trades so rarely that it does not even have an average daily volume so stock promotion is definitely one of the possibilities. Another important factor to point out is the business they are engaged in – medical marijuana – is still in such an early stage, both politically and economically, no one really knows what is going to happen with it. The time-frame for profitability could be 20 years instead of 5 like many hope. Definitely do your due diligence and research on this company before clicking the “buy” tab because you could be sitting on these 6 cent shares for quite a while.

Cannabis Science is one of the companies engaged in pharmaceutical grade medical marijuana research and development. The Company works with world authorities on phytocannabinoid science targeting critical illnesses, and adheres to scientific methodologies to develop, produce and commercialize phytocannabinoid-based pharmaceutical products. In sum, Cannabis Science are dedicated to the creation of cannabis-based medicines, both with and without psychoactive properties, to treat disease and the symptoms of disease, as well as for general health maintenance.

Resolve Your Skincare Issues, including Hemp Seed Oil Cream

Many people suffer from skin problems and are looking for advice on how to better care for their skin. If you’re one of those people, then you’ve come to the right place. Below are a few tips and tricks to help you care for your skin and clear up any problems.

Stress affects the whole body, since your skin is a organ it will affect your skin as well! Stress can create extra cortisol within your body. Cortisol is a hormone that promotes your skin to produce extra oil. Stay stress free by making sure you get enough fun times in your day!

Vitamin D can be directly absorbed by the skin and is toxic in massive amounts so do not over use vitamin D products or supplements. However, it is an important anti-carcinogen and antioxidant and is formed in the body by exposure to the sun. Sitting in direct sunlight is the best way to get your vitamin D, yet do not burn yourself to a crisp and do not forget sunscreen!

Do not smoke if you want healthy skin. Smoking ages your skin, making you appear older than you really are. It causes the blood vessels in the top layers of skin to become thinner, decreasing blood flow, and causing the skin to be depleted of oxygen as well as other key nutrients. In addition, smoking causes the collagen fibers of your skin to weaken. These fibers are what give your skin strength as well as elasticity.

If you want to prevent a scratch or cut from scarring, apply an anti-bacterial cream every day and stay out of the sun. Anti-bacterial creams help the wound heal faster. Shielding your skin from the sun prevents hyper-pigmentation, which can make the scar even harder to erase later.

A useful skin care tip for the winter months is to eschew hot baths and opt for warm water instead. Very hot baths and showers tend to destroy the skin’s protective layer of lipids, causing a reduction in moisture. Adding baking soda or oatmeal to a warm bath can help soothe itchy, dry winter skin.

It is important to make sure you get enough Vitamin E, which can be found in many food sources like avocados, in order to make sure your skin stays soft and pliable. If you do not get enough, your skin may crack and be vulnerable to infection and other damage.

Hemp seeds are great for your skin, as they will help to restore the essential amino acids that your body needs to perform natural daily functions. These seeds will allow you to reduce the toxins in your body, while maintaining great health, which will improve your overall tone. Choose hemp seeds to improve your skin consistency.

The tips in this article are only a few of the things you can be doing to care for your skin. If these are things that you are already doing, then congratulations, because you are on the right track. If these tips don’t help, don’t give up! There is plenty of other advice out there.

Cannabis, also known as marijuana[1] or marihuana, or ganja (from Hindi/Sanskrit: गांजा gānjā, hemp),[2] is a psychoactive product of the plant Cannabis sativa, or more often, Cannabis sativa subsp. indica. The herbal form of the drug consists of dried mature flowers and subtending leaves of pistillate (female) plants. The resinous form, known as hashish,[3] consists primarily of glandular trichomes collected from the same plant material. The major biologically active chemical compound in cannabis is Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), commonly referred to as THC.
Humans have been consuming cannabis since prehistory,[4] although in the 20th century there was a rise in its use for recreational, religious or spiritual, and medicinal purposes. It is estimated that about four percent[5] of the world’s adult population use cannabis annually and 0.6 percent daily. Cannabis is the world’s most often used illegal drug.[6] The possession, use, or sale of psychoactive cannabis products became illegal in most parts of the world in the early 20th century. Since then, some countries have intensified the enforcement of cannabis prohibition while others have reduced the priority of enforcement.

Cannabis Career Institute To Conduct All Day Seminar in Boca Raton This Saturday To promote Jobs and Business Opportunities In The Growing Cannabis Industry

Burbank, California (PRWEB) February 06, 2015

Earlier this week, Cannabis Career Institute announced a partnership with the Global Hemp Group (GHG) that will significantly broaden the educational spectrum for CCI students. Specifically, GHG will provide its hemp industry-leading expertise in expanding the CCI curriculum to include coursework on hemp economics, business opportunities, building materials, food & nutrition, cultivation, genetics, processing, and bio-composites.

GHG staff will soon be scheduled to speak at CCI classes on the business of hemp and the entrepreneurial opportunities available in the hemp industry.

“CCI Seminar interest from cannabis-minded businessmen and women all over the country has been tremendous and with our new affiliation with the Global Hemp Group, it will only increase,” said Robert Calkin, CEO and Founder of Cannabis Career Institute. “As both the cannabis and hemp legalization movements continue to envelope the nation, more and more people are seeing the exciting and potentially lucrative business opportunities available. Helping people understand these vibrant, vanguard industries and preparing them to pursue their goals is what we do.”

“There is no other industry on the planet right now that is growing as rapidly as the cannabis business,” added Gary Lane, CCI’s Sales and Marketing Director. “If someone is looking for a career in marijuana or wants to learn how the industry works, the one-day CCI workshop is an excellent primer. Not only does one receive valuable instruction and information but what also usually happens is a “class-bonding” dynamic.

More often than not, students of each of the classes form their own networking and support group that turns into a valuable and life-long resource.”

Cannabis Career Institute specializes in teaching would-be entrepreneurs how to navigate the often-murky waters of starting up a cannabis business.

CCI presents students with an objective expanse of options with step-by-step instruction on the process of starting a business. Delivery, Dispensary Management, Law, Compliance, Marketing and Advertising, Cultivation, Extracts and Cooking are all discussed in detail, providing students with many choices to fit their career goals and lifestyle.

Cost for the one day seminar, that also allows for students to attend any future class for free, is $ 349 and includes a seminar manual. CCI is scheduled to return to Boca Raton on Saturday, April 11.

As seen on CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, the Huffington Post, and more, Cannabis Career Institute was the first cannabis seminar training program ever offered and is the most successful of its kind.
